One Day Walks
Our one day walks are mostly at the week-ends and generally consist of going up 1 or more Munro's or the occassional Corbett. The cost for these walks is from £25 per walk which includes transport from pre-arranged pick up points. Walks that are more than £25.00 are indicated in the Diary page.

West Highland Way
The West Highland Way is a 95 mile walk from the outskirts of Glasgow to Fort William. Usually we take 6 days to complete this route as follows;

• Milngavie to Balmaha - 19 miles
• Balmaha to Inversnaid - 14 miles
• Inversnaid to Crianlarich - 13 miles
• Crianlarich to Inveroran - 17 miles
• Inveroran to Kinlochleven - 18 miles
• Kinlochleven to Fort William - 14 miles

The cost will be £425 and this includes accommodation in Hotels and quality guest houses and is based on 2 sharing a twin room. Baggage transfer, breakfast and lunch is included.

Great Glen Way
The Great Glen Way is a wonderful addition to the West Highland Way and is a 73 mile walk from Fort William to Inverness but is walked much less than it's older and bigger rival. Usually we take 5 days for this route as follows;

• Fort William to Gairlochy - 10 miles
• Gairlochy to Laggan - 12 miles
• Laggan to Invermoriston - 19 miles
• Invermoriston to Drumnadrochit - 14 miles
• Drumnadrochit to Inverness - 18 miles

The cost will be £350 with accommodation in quality guest houses. Baggage transfer, breakfast and lunch is included.

Cape Wrath Trail

This is a 12 day backpacking trip from Fort William to Cape Wrath covering approx 195 miles. In 2007 this will be our first trip which is as much a scouting trip to find alternative routes and routes that can be achieved by anyone. In this first walk we also hope to 'bag' a number of Munro's on route (around 12 in 12 days) but that will also depend on weather conditions. If you would like to join us on this trip all you need is the correct gear which includes a tent and you just pay your own way. It will be a strenuous walk with high expectations of completing good mileage each day. If you are interested then email me and I'll send you a proposed route with all the expected mileages for each day.

Week-end Island Trips

(NOT AVAILABLE IN 2008)
Our week-end trips in June, July and August usually start on Friday or early on Saturday morning and end late on Sunday evening or Monday with one or two nights accommodation and 2or 3 days walking. Ferry costs are included below. We will not be taking vehicles onto the islands. The islands are shaded in blue on the map adjacent.

Arran:- Meet at Ardrossan Ferry Terminal on Saturday 3 May at 09.15 for 09.45 ferry. Accommodation will be B&B. 2 full days walking. Return ferry from Brodick at either 16.40 or 19.20 on Sunday. Lunch is included on day 2. Cost £90.00.

Rum:- Meet at Mallaig Ferry Terminal on Saturday 28 June at 07.00 for 07.30 ferry. Accommodation will be in a hostel and will be self catering throughout. 3 days walking in the Rum Cuillins. Cost £95.00

Jura:- Meet at Kennacraig Ferry Terminal on Friday 6 August at 12.30 for 13.00 ferry. Accommodation will be self catering in a cottage. 3.5 days walking including the Paps of Jura. Cost £120.00. ONLY 5 SPACES AVAILABLE ON THIS TRIP.

Free Walks
From time to time we will advertise free walks where you are welcome to join our group at the start point of any of the 1 day walks and try us out for free. If you require transport we ask that you pay the appropriate cost which will be indicated beside the free walk. Free walks will be highlighted in the 'Diary' section.

Week-end Island Trips
Transport to Mallaig or Kennacraig may be available for early bookers at a cost of £25.00 return trip from in and around Glasgow. Please email for details.
Accommodation on the islands is limited so early booking is advised.
